McCall MacBain Scholarships Financial Benefits
Benefits of the McCall MacBain Scholarships in Canada 2023–2024 include the following:
- There will be a full payment of the tuition.
- Candidates will get a stipend of US$2,000CAD per month.
- Any Canadian public university can earn regional prizes for their full-time master’s degree, which is one of the finalist programs.
- Candidates from outside the United States can compete for one of 20 international final awards worth $20,000 each. The money from these prizes will be used to subsidize full-time enrollment in McGill’s master’s program.
- Scholars will meet every two weeks to discuss leadership in light of current events.

English Language Proficiency Requirements
- Proof of Competence Not required if: English is the mother tongue (the first language learned and still used on a daily basis).
- Has (or is going to receive) a bachelor’s degree from Canada or the United States.
- has lived, studied, or worked in a nation where English is the officially recognized primary language for at least four years.
- holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited international university where English is the primary language of instruction, or is about to obtain one.
Eligibility Criteria
The following will be the requirements for eligibility for the McCall MacBain Scholarship in Canada in 2023–2024:
- To be eligible for the award, candidates must be Canadian or US nationals or international students.
- The ideal candidate will be under the age of 30.
- You are currently enrolled and on target to complete your first bachelor’s degree by August 2024.
- In January 2018 or later, you received your first bachelor’s degree during the previous five years of study.
- You will be 30 years of age or younger in 2023, having earned your first bachelor’s degree more than five years ago.
- You need to submit a French thesis and pass an English proficiency test in order to be eligible for the fellowship.
Application Deadline
Applicants must apply for the McCall MacBain Scholarships in Canada 2023-2024 no later than September 27, 2023. If they are Canadian or US citizens, they must apply before August 24, 2023, whereas overseas applicants must apply before August 24, 2023.
