1. R&D Systems Scholarship
One Canadian scholarship available to high school students interested in pursuing careers in science-related sectors such as health, medicine, or life sciences is the R&D Systems Scholarship.
You must have been accepted into a program in one of the aforementioned disciplines at a Canadian college with accreditation before you may apply as a senior in high school or as a graduate.
Should you be chosen, the money will be transferred straight to your host college to cover your tuition.
If you are not eligible for the current year’s R&D Systems Scholarship, you can reapply the next year, as it is granted to new students each year.

2. Horatio Alger Association of Canada Scholarships
The Horatio Alger Association of Canada is a nonprofit organization that promotes the idea that perseverance, integrity, and hard work can overcome any challenge.
According to the association’s belief, scholarships are given out every year to deserving Canadian high school students from low-income families who are presently enrolled in high school but plan to enroll in college the following academic year.
Students in grade 11 at high schools may be eligible for $10,000 scholarships, but to be considered, they must meet certain requirements.
These include having a family income of less than $65,000 annually, proving financial need, exhibiting integrity and overcoming hardship, intending to pursue post-secondary education, having a strong academic record, and wanting to give back to the community.
3. Kin Canada Bursaries
Founded in 1920 by Hal Rogers, Kin Canada is the largest all-Canadian service organization club. Currently, the club is composed of committed volunteer members who arrange and sponsor events as well as community service initiatives to address the most pressing needs in their community.
The Hal Rogers Endowment Fund launched the Kin Canada Bursaries program in 1994 to assist Canadian high school graduates in covering the cost of their postsecondary education.
Kin Canada Bursaries are given out annually; however, the amount provided in any given year is contingent upon the Hal Rogers Endowment Fund’s balance and the regulations controlling it. Individuals and Kin, Kinsmen, and Kinnette Clubs provide the donations.
To be eligible for the Kin Canada Bursaries, an applicant must meet the following requirements: they must be a citizen or permanent resident of Canada; they must be enrolled full-time in a post-secondary institution or in the process of graduating from high school; they must also have completed the application by the deadline; and they must have received a Kin Canada Bursary in the past.
The evaluation of applicants will take into account their financial circumstances, familiarity with Kin Canada, and involvement in community and school activities.
4. TD Scholarships for Community Leadership
TD Scholarships for Community Leadership may be awarded to Canadian high school seniors in their final year who have demonstrated a dedication to improving their communities.
Over four years of postsecondary education, the scholarship offers $70,000.
For a maximum of four years, it is divided into $10,000 for tuition and $7,500 for living expenses.
Among the top Canadian scholarships available to high school students is the TD Scholarship for Community Leadership. Scholarship awardees receive chances for peer networking, mentorship, and summer employment in addition to financial aid.
To qualify, you need to have proven your leadership in the community and have finished your most recent academic year with a minimum overall grade average of 75% (outside of Quebec) or a minimum R score of 26 (in Quebec).
5. NELSON Civic Leader Scholarship
The goal of the Nelson Civic Leader Scholarship is to recognize and encourage academic achievement across Canada.
Students in Grade 12 are given the Nelson Scholarship in recognition of their inventiveness and motivational achievements.
Every year, young Native leaders of tomorrow who are dedicated to both academic success and community service are given the NELSON Civic Leader Scholarship. The cost of the Nelson Civic Leader Scholarship for a 2- or 4-year program is $2,500.
6. Terry Fox Humanitarian Award
Scholarships are available to students who volunteer and give back to their communities in the same ways that Terry Fox did through the Terry Fox Humanitarian Award.
You must have a strong academic record, be a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant, be finishing your first year of CEGEP, be graduating from high school, or have completed high school to be eligible for the Terry Fox Humanitarian Award.
You must intend to pursue your first degree or diploma at a Canadian higher education institution that is approved, as well as engage in unpaid volunteer work in the humanitarian sector.
The award is worth $28,000, which will be distributed over several years with a $7,000 stipend.
The award is given for a maximum of four years, provided the recipient maintains solid academic standing as well as a high quality of personal behavior and humanitarian service.
