The number of scholarships available
The Schulich Foundation provides 50 scholarships each year or annually.
The award’s monetary value
The scholarship sum is $100,000 for each of the twenty-five scholarships awarded to selected students pursuing an engineering degree, and the other twenty-five scholarships are worth $80,000 apiece to students studying science, technology, or math.
Eligibility criteria for Schulich Scholarship
All high school graduates and Cegep students across Canada who wish to pursue STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) at one of their partner universities are eligible to apply for Schulich Scholarships.
Selection criteria include financial need, academic excellence, and exceptional community, business, or entrepreneurial leadership.
The scholarship is also open to those who are entrepreneurially minded and plan to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, or medicine.

How to Apply for the Schulich Scholarship 2023-2024 in Canada
Candidates who are eligible and interested in applying for the position of Schulich Leader Nominee should submit the following papers with their application form:
- The candidate should identify their top three accomplishments.
- Optional 600-word essay outlining mitigating circumstances
- two letters of recommendation
- recommendation letters
- academic transcripts that have been updated
- image of a headshot for marketing purposes
Applicants must submit all relevant paperwork, including a fully completed application form, online.
Prior to applying for the scholarship, the candidate must receive an offer from the university in order to be eligible to apply for the scholarship.
Application deadline
There are two deadlines for the school to submit a nominee, and the nominee to submit the Schulich Leader scholarship application is expected in February 2024.
